L.D. Austin (August 17, 1918 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Greenville, SC. He competed in 169 Sprint Cup Series events in his career, spanning from 1957 to 1962. Austin had a solid career, finishing in the top-ten in points three times (best of 6th in 1958) and earning fifty-four top-ten finishes. His best effort was a pair of 5ths.
