The dagger class interceptor is a rapidly aging model of interceptor, but it is still a viable craft. Smaller than the longsword, it has a larger amount of weapons, and goes faster, but at the loss of crew space, armor, and fuel supply. The dagger was fielded from January 21st, 2509, to July 17th, 2552, when it was replaced by the Rapier Class Interceptor.
