The Duel on Mimban was the final showdown between the Jedi Knight Anakin Solo and Paturos, the tenth member of the Twelve Swords. The outcome of the duel would prove to be a much needed morale boost for the New Republic and the Jedi Order, and as the war dragged on the tale of "the battle of the knight and the vampire" would go on to become a famed and much embellished story of bravery and skill.
