X1: Seiran, formally known as X Series I and codenamed Seiran, was the sixteenth tournament in the X Tournament Series and the first tournament in the 2016 season. The tournament was organized and operated on 30 January 2016 by Doqtor Kirby. X1 was seeded using version 3.0 of the X Scoring System. Additionally, X1: Seiran featured a Brawl Minus tournament. Seiran was considered a colossal failure due to the amount of disqualifications and dropouts.
