MK News Studio is the starting location in the game Mario: Rise of Shadow. In the beginning of the game Mario and Luigi arrive here after getting a distress signal from the station. When they enter the main room Yoshi and Toad are trying to save Peach from Bowser. However before they can Boon and Rowland appear and challenge them to a fight. After they defeat the Studio becomes the main hub of the game. The party must travel to different T.V. sets to go to different lands. After traveling through them all and freeing the world the Station actually becomes a secondary hub because the Temple of Dimension is now available for use.
