The Supersonic Bulblax is an enemy similar to the Fiery Bulblax first seen in Pikmin 2, only the Supersonic Bulblax protects itself by emitting shockwaves that flow through its body as it breathes, somewhat similar to a Puffy Blowhog. The difference between the shockwaves is that the Supersonic Bulblax's shockwaves kill Pikmin on contact. The result is a deadly, jagged predator crackling with violent electricity. As one would expect, you must use Yellow Pikmin to defeat this creature from behind.
