The Ferengi Office of Population Control was an organization on Ferenginar charged with limiting the population of the Ferengi homeworld. Following the Overpopulation Crisis of 17231, it was discovered that rumors of massive deposits of latinum on the planet Chimera Pi and other worlds, which inspired billions of Ferengi to leave the planet, had been initiated by the Office of Population Control.
