Shantae and The Pirate's Curse is a game by WayForward Technologies exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. It is the 3rd Shantae game in the Shantae series, following the overdued sequel Shantae: Risky's Revenge and released on the Nintendo eShop at October 23, 2014. The game was announced in the November 2012 edition of Nintendo Power . On December 25, 2014, launched for the Wii U. Inti Creates is doing the character art. It released physically in Japan on November 19, 2015. A sequel was released in 2016 called Shantae: Half Genie Hero for the Wii U and other consoles.
