Lieutenant Esteban Rodriguez was a male Human Starfleet officer who lived during the mid-23rd century. He served in the sciences division aboard the USS Enterprise under Captain James T. Kirk, during a historic five-year mission that starship undertook. In 2267, Rodriguez was in a seven-member landing party assigned to explore the Shore Leave Planet. During his visit there, his imagination gave form to a flock of birds, a Bengal tiger, and, later, a Japanese Zero warplane that strafed and apparently killed Angela Martine. (TOS: "Shore Leave" )
