The 2008 Emerson Radio 250 was a Nationwide Series event held at Richmond International Raceway on September 7, 2008. Carl Edwards continued a recent trend in the series - point leader Clint Bowyer fading late with Edwards coming on strong for the finish. This time, it paid off for Edwards, as he backflipped his way to his 4th victory of the season. Bowyer, who led 195 of the 250 laps, finished third, behind Edwards and runner-up Scott Wimmer.
