Not the Spotlightis a newly formed Mp3 blog created by the e-famous hype. He created it in early 2006 in hopes to create more awareness of more under the radar singer-songwriters and bands. There is a focus on female-fronted projects but not limited to that. hype is also a contributer and moderator to the livejournal music community Audiography.
