The Waco Massacre was the result of a 51-day siege by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Waco, Texas. The siege followed after the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) wanted to execute a search warrant on the Branch Davidian ranch at Mount Carmel. The Davidian leader at the time was David Koresh. 82 Branch Davidians were murdered by the federal government when their compound was set on fire. Officer ZermeƱo referred to the Waco Massacre, when he found a stash of weapons from the followers of the Church of Wisdom and Sight. (SVU:"Charisma")
