Quarrenese, also refererred to as Quarren, was the official language of the Quarren species. Quarrens were mostly bilingual in both Quarrenese and Basic, although many of them also learned Mon Calamarian. Converesly, many Mon Calamari learned Mon Calamarian, Basic, and Quarrenese. Quarrenese was also extended in planets with notable colonies of Quarrens.
