At the age of four, Savon was saved by Darius Daratrazanoff, along with Desari Daratrazanoff, Barack, Dayan, and Syndil. He was Darius' second in command before turning vampire. He lured Syndil to him, then preceded to beat, rape, and maul her, effectively destroying her bright spirit. Darius, though wounded, managed to kill him. The loss was felt by their whole foster family.
