Beauty and the Beast is a 2017 American family musical fantasy adventure film directed by Bill Condon from a screenplay written by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos. A co-production between Walt Disney Pictures and Mandeville Films, the film is a live-action remake of Disney's 1994 animated film of the same name. It stars Donald Glover, Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, James Earl Jones, Josh Gad, Audra McDonald, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Ian McKellen.
