[Source] Sapir tea was a variety of tea available in the galaxy by the last decades of the Galactic Republic. Made from the leaves of the sapir plant, the beverage was green in color and had a rich, aromatic smell. It was a favorite of the Human Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. After the death of Jinn's dear friend and fellow Jedi Tahl, Jinn's apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi brought him sapir tea early every morning during their stay in the Jedi Temple on the Republic capital of Coruscant as a way to console him.
