Birgis was a world that lay in the path of the Yuuzhan Vong in their invasion of the galaxy. Boba Fett and his Mandalorian Protectors secured a landing zone for the Vong prior to their actual ground invasion. In the process Fett used the cover of the invasion to pass on intelligence on the Yuuzhan Vong to the New Republic. The world then fell after its ground forces were routed and forced to evacuate.
