Jeb Carter is the eldest son of John and Sarah Carter, Jeb also has a younger brother called| ]] Jason Carter. Jeb and his family eventually moved to the quiet town of Walnut Grove into the Ingalls old house at Plum Creek seeking a quieter life. Jeb and his family settled in quite well and he and his brother soon made new friends, and also developed a bit of anger against Nancy Oleson. His most notable appearance is when he befriends the Wilder's niece Jenny and saves her from trying to kill herself drowning in a pond even though he cannot swim. (Home Again)
