Bar West is a gay nightclub in Hotten. It was frequently visited by Jackson Walsh in 2010, and is the place where he met his future boyfriend Aaron. In December 2014, Aaron took his lover Robert Sugden to the bar which left Robert uncomfortable. The bar made a reprisal in January 2015, when Finn Barton and his brothers Ross and Pete meet their mother. Finn himself is gay, and Ross was punched by a punter after he tried to get his scarf from the chair Ross was sat on, and Ross thought he was coming on to him.
