Prince Nestor was a warrior and devout follower of Ares. He prayed to Ares to be allowed to kill the last Golden Hind and Strife told him he could so long as he used the Hind's blood to kill Hercules. A request he was happy to oblige due to bad blood involving the hero killing his elder brother hoping to use the Hinds blood to end him, Nestor proved to be no match for the Hind or Hercules. He was unable to capture the Hind and when Ares finally gave him the Hind's blood he failed to kill Hercules. When Hercules and Iolaus pursued Nestor through the forest he accidentally tripped one of the booby traps he had set for the Hind and was killed.
