The Death Trials (Japanese: 判定試験 Judgment Trials) is located in the Atora region, and is a post-Pokémon League battle arena system located beneath the Atora region, inaccessible except by a secret underground cave system, as it is well hidden to trainers who haven't proven themselves yet. Its purpose is to provide a challenge to the toughest of trainers, with the best and brightest trainers from all over the world battling each other to see who is the strongest.
