The Massey Ferguson 788 was a model of self-propelled combine harvester built in the 1960s. The machine was powered by a Perkins 4-cylinder diesel engine for the UK market mounted under the threshing drum on the right hand side (opposite to driver). They came in various widths of cutter bar (the one in the photo looks like a 10 ft version).
