Born in Ireland, Melmoth studied in Dublin and Oxford, demonstrating his talent for writing. A follower of the Aesthetic Ideal, he expressed himself in his eccentrics. After the publishing of several poems, his works were received with more interest on an international area and he began presenting them on tours around the world. By the 1890's, he had published his first novel, several playwrights, fairy-tails and essays.
