What that means is they can't work together because they can't tolerate eachother. I don't think so; in episode 89 he cringed a little when he was told to go fetch her. To date he has shown nothing but hatred towards her. In episode 104 he only backed her into the tree because he wanted to turn her fear that she killed Yukimaru's mother againsed her. In fact, the one with a crush on Guren is Gozu, who died protecting Guren fron kakashi's lightning blade.
