The molecular microscope was a high-powered multi-spectrum microscope produced by TelBrinTel Corporation. Designed for use in Science Research Droids, the microscope was small enough to fit in the droids' single stalk-like photoreceptor and was used to great effect in Imperial chemical weapons research. The microscope was so effective that it was also used in the civilian version of the Science Research Droid, the S2R(A) Science Droid.
