Jerry Benjamin is a former NASCAR driver from Rising Sun, MD. He competed in five Sprint Cup Series events in his brief career. Benjamin's debut came in 1955, when he competed at Langhorne. Starting 20th in the field of forty-two, Benjamin had early overheating issues in the event and finished a disappointing 33rd as a result. Benjamin's final race came in 1958, returning once again to the New Oxford facility. It was another tough race, starting last (31st) and falling victim to an early piston issue (he failed to finish all five of his races) that left him 29th in the final rundown.
