Back in the Special Zone is a complete story by Nigel Kitching, Richard Elson and Ellie de Ville. Maude and Harold Mudd are having an argument when their wall is smashed down by Society Max and Sonic the Hedgehog. As their fight moves on, the Chaotix Crew arrive to track them down. After a reunion, Sonic defeats the dinosaur and its rider, Blockhead Bill, is revealed to be Mighty the Armadillo's father.
