Cathos was a Pantathian priest who aided the fake Murmandamus in an attempt to release Alma-Lodaka, revered creator of the Panthathians. After Arutha conDoin removes his talisman and reveals himself to Cathos's magic during the Battle of Sethanon, Murmandamus strikes him down. Murmandamus orders an attack and Cathos is subsequently trampled to death.
