London has a great range of public transport. There are the black cabs, minicabs, buses, the London Underground. There is the Overground trains as well and the DLR. A black cab can be hailed on the street but a minicab can't and there are horror stories about people who do - hiring details can be found on the minicab page. The Oyster card is used to pay for many forms of transport and is a card that you touch against sensors. London has a congestion charge if you drive your car in certain areas.
