Lux was Jayne Cobb's personal minigun. He used this weapon to defend the crew against Reavers near the end of the movie Serenity. Editors - this is not a minigun - miniguns have multiple barrels. This gun clearly is some sort of light machine gun, it's design looks descended from the original water cooled Maxim guns, one barrel high cyclic rate. Since the barrel is in the middle and not the bottom, it may be related to the air-cooled Lewis gun.
