The mortar super battle droid was a combat droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. It was armed with a mortar tube and thermal grenades. It was quite effective against shielded and mechanized units, if somewhat ineffective against buildings and non-mechanized units. It had a large back section compared to the standard unit.
