Menards has several locations in the Twin Cities area, including one in Eden Prairie where MST3K was produced. In advertisements the company's catch phrase is "Save Big Money at Menards." Television advertisements during MST3K's initial run featured a white haired older gentleman named Ray Szmanda, and the company still uses his likeness in print ads.
