Faramir was born in FO 10 (SR 1430) and he later married Goldilocks Gardner, the third daughter of Samwise Gamgee and Rosie Cotton in FO 42 (SR 1463). He became Thain of the Shire in FO 63 (SR 1484) after when his father and Meriadoc Brandybuck left for Edoras and Gondor in FO 63 (SR 1484). Pippin named Faramir Took after Faramir, brother of Boromir. Faramir Took died in FO 112.
