For many, the distinctions between American Accents and Canadian accents is marginal at best... a fact which many casting managers rely on, when filming north of the 49th Parallel for shows ostensibly set in the States. However, when it becomes relevant -- or when someone is not quite there, acting wise -- certain things can be determined, eh? Two cases where a Canadian accent was lampooned are with Bob & Doug McKenzie from SCTV, and in South Park, where the entire United Nations laughs at the accent of the Canadian ambassador.
