Before he was killed, the Unknown Dark Jedi was tracking down Mulluns, feeling he was strong in the Force and attempted to find him. He found Beth Reed first, Mulluns's fiancee and took her captive as lightsaber point. When he found Mulluns, they exchanged words and he told the mercenary he could become a powerful warrior if he gave into the Dark Side. Blinded by rage, Mulluns opened fire on the Dark Jedi, only to have his bolts deflected back to the mercenary before he killed Beth. Her death sparked a fuse in the merc, and caused him to open fire a large volley of blaster fire, more then the Dark Jedi could deflect as he was soon killed by being riddled with blaster marks.
