A Shrimp appears in the Elmo the Musical segment, "Beach the Musical." The shrimp is the only inhabitant of King Crab's kingdom of "Happy Crab Beach" because her small size prevents her from doing many things (giving her the "Sad Shrimp Blues"). Soon, she sees her worth when she's the only one who can rescue King Crab's crown when it's swept into some rocks by the ocean. She ditches her blues for a joyful song about her newfound feeling of pride.
