The Genome project is currently in public beta and is aimed at providing information on every Radio Times from 1923 - 2009. Because of copyright the Genome project can only list content for BBC programmes. The BBC obtain the information by scanning ever Radio Times and then used Optical Character Recognition software to turn into a digital copy. Visitors to the website can edit the contents listed to provide additional information and correct any errors created by the Optical Character Recognition software.
