Pickhammers are elegant, fast weapons that are designed to tear through armour as if it were made of paper. They are quite common during the age of Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters, and fall into disuse when the invention of guns make armour irrelevant. Because of this, they are not seen during the time of Fable II. It should be noted that pickhammers are the weakest kind of weapon around, though for a warrior who wants to keep their purses full it is an ideal choice.
