Petit Devil (プチデビル Puchi Debiru?) is an enemy from Mega Man 9 that appears in Galaxy Man's stage as well as the second and third Wily stages. It can float either horizontally or vertically, and releases miniatures of itself upon destruction. The miniatures shift forward in the direction the destroying shot was fired from, though the number and vertical displacement of the miniatures depends on the color. However, the Black Hole Bomb will instantly destroy them without releasing any miniatures. There are two varieties, Petit Devil Yellow and Petit Devil Green. The Green version releases three miniatures, two going downward and the third going upward. The Yellow releases four miniatures closer together, all in a general upward direction.
