Jax Pavan 31,138 was one of the 582,797,754 Human males named Jax Pavan on Coruscant. He was a TITS translator stationed on Kashyyyk during negotiations between Kashyyyk's Wookiee population and DICK, the Department for Imperial Culture on Kashyyyk. He assisted the negotiators during the negotiations, and managed to trick the Wookiees. He told them the Empire just wanted to spread they Imperial culture... and enslave the Wookiees. It is possible that he left this last part out, or purposely translated it wrong. Either way, the Wookiees agreed to the terms and signed the necessary documents.
