The Cinnagar Interceptor is a Hoersch-Kessel Drive design heavily based on the ancient Koros Spaceworks Interceptor used by the forces of Empress Teta during the time of the Great Hyperspace War. In its heyday, the Koros Spaceworks Interceptor was a formidable starfighter capable of rendering incoming threats harmless within moments. While not the most powerful starfighter ever, the ship was quite fast for its time and often deployed in large numbers in order to overwhelm any opposition. HKD sought to emulate these traits with the Cinnagar Interceptor.
