The Meridian Confederation was a fairly powerful galactic government in power around the time of the Sith crusade. Centered around and within the Meridian sector it got most of its power from trading the rare minerals on the planets of Toola, Elom and Rhen Var to the Galactic Alliance and its allies. One of the most famous members of the Meridian Confederation of General Prefance, and Human immigrant to Rhen var, who became Supreme Commander of the Meridian Home Fleet. He later lead the ultimately futile defense of the Confederation alongside Admiral Ema against the invading Sith.
