Kael Leander was a Jedi Master and Councilor in the years leading up to the Alsakan Crisis. One of his most notable pupils was Cain Ray, a powerful force adept and one time Jedi Knight who led a number of Jedi from the order and started his own enclave for training force sensitives, known as the Shade Order. Master Leander tragically died shortly after leaving the Jedi with Cain.
