Treacherous Guardians were the former abomination Undercity Guardians that sided with Varimathras and Grand Apothecary Putress during the Battle for the Undercity. They were all slain during the two separate coups launched by the Horde and the Alliance. With Patch 3.3.0 (after the battle), most Undercity Guardians are being replaced by [75 - 85] Kor'kron Overseers, preventing the construction of more Legion-aligned abominations by the apothecaries. However, some remain intact within the Sewers.
