Kom Traya was a false name Professor Sonek Pran gave to Thal Orbital Control, in order to convince them he was a Lissepian rather than a Federation citizen. Kom Traya was supposedly the owner of the Traya Nall, a Lissepian planet-hopper (in reality, the USS Seine with its shields altered), and had come to Thalezra to visit a friend, a Ferengi named Sekki.
