Senhora do mar (Negras águas) was the Portuguese entry at the 2008 Contest. It was performed by Vânia Fernandes. In the second semi-final of that year, it was performed last after FYR Macedonia. The song placed 2nd in the 100% televoting situation with 120 points, therefore qualifying for the final. In the final, the song was performed 13th following Turkey and preceding Latvia. At the close of voting, the song placed 13th with 69 points.
