The C-B3 Cortosis Battle Droid was a battle droid developed by the Techno Union, based on the design of the Super Battle Droid. Unlike the B2 droids, however, C-B3s had no hands and instead had twin laser cannons. Their armor was made of cortosis, a black substance which could deflect lightsabers.
