The Senzai-za was the foremost kabuki theatre in Toshi Ranbo. Larger and somewhat less formal than the Senzai Noh Theatre, Senzai-za was available for a wider range of performances than just kabuki plays, including less structured plays, as well as song, dance, poetry and instrumental music recitals.
