Kamikaze Spider Droids could only be seen while fighting Gleeman Vox, which he sent toward Ratchet in groups of 5-10. They attacked by crawling toward him and then exploding, similar to the seekers in Ratchet & Clank and the Detonoids in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. The best strategy to avoid them was to keep moving and use an explosive weapon such as the B-6 Obliterator or to block them with the Holoshield Launcher. Kamikaze Spider Droids were first found in DreadZone Station; in the challenge 'Defeat Gleeman Vox'.
