The Boonta Eve was an annual holiday and festival celebrated on the desert planet of Tatooine during the last decades of the Galactic Republic. It honored the rise of Boonta Hestilic Shad'ruu to godhood. The Hutts, who dominated Tatooine at the time, would host the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace to commemorate the Boonta Eve.
